We're very excited to introduce you to the latest addition to our platform, Airsquare Tablet.
What is it?
It's an iOS / Android tablet app designed specifically for use in-store, bridging the gap between your online & physical stores.
How can it help my business?
The killer feature of this app is being able to sell your products and events in-store. It shares the same inventory as your online store, which means no more stock headaches! You can see the stock for each item on the sell screen, updated instantly in real time. You can even sell offline.
Because we've integrated pricing tiers, you can sell to both your retail and wholesale customers in-store, using the right prices. You can assign a new or existing customer to a sale, and let them pay 'on account' too.
Apart from selling in-store, you can also:
- Review and process orders
- Manage products and events
- View your customer database
How much is it?
It's free. It works in-conjunction with any of our existing subscription plans.
How do I get my hands on it?
Just go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for Airsquare Tablet.
Is any setup required?
Nope. Just login and all your products, events, categories are there waiting for you. You can sell straight away.
It's version one, be nice
Although we've done a ton of work and testing, there's a few things that aren't perfect yet:
- Support for thermal printers isn't great at the moment, you need to have a printer which is discoverable by Apple Airprint or Google Cloud Printing. Save the planet by emailing the receipt instead!
- There's no sales report for the day (broken down by payment type). Coming soon.
What about Vend?
Don't worry, we'll still be supporting our Vend integration.
Airsquare Tablet is aimed at smaller, single outlet businesses.
Vend caters for bigger multi-outlet stores, handles stock transfers and direct ordering from your suppliers.
