At Airsquare, your privacy is important to us. The following Privacy Policy forms part of the Airsquare Terms and Conditions; as such, by using Airsquare services, both you and Airsquare agree to adhere to this Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect about you
a) when you use the Airsquare website (Airsquare.com)
b) when you use Airsquare services, i.e. when you sign up to create a website with Airsquare
c) when you use a website that is hosted by Airsquare.com.
We will not share your personal information in any other way, other than how we have outlined below.
A) When you use airsquare.com
Server logs
Airsquare.com may automatically log certain information about you, when you browse the site. This is so that we can gain information regarding our site visitors, to help us make our site more effective and user-friendly. The information collected includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and click stream data. This information does not identify users but we may also use this information to aid in identifying people who are misusing the service, i.e. who are in breach of our terms and conditions of service.
Cookies
Airsquare uses 'cookies', (small bits of data, which are sent to your Internet browser and stored on your computer) which allow us to recall your preferences when you re-visit our site. Most websites do this. Cookies can be used to identify your account in our system whenever you are logged in, but don't carry any personal information about you.
You can choose to turn off cookies in your browser settings; however, this will mean that some of our website functions will be unavailable to you, e.g. you may not be able to sign in.
Links to other sites
Airsquare links to other sites. When you click on these links, you essentially leave the Airsquare website. This privacy policy does not apply to these sites and Airsquare has no control over, or responsibility for, the privacy policy of these sites. We recommend that you read the privacy policy of these websites.
Comments
When you leave a comment on Airsquare.com, if you provide your name and email address, these will be stored by us and will also be available to Airsquare personnel.
B) When you sign up to create your own website with Airsquare
Personal information that we collect
To sign up to use Airsquare services, you must provide a User name, password and a valid, current email address. You can update this information through the Airsquare websuite. This information will be removed if/when you cancel your account with us.
On receipt of this information, Airsquare will send you an introductory welcome email.
In order to sign up for a paid account with Airsquare, you will provide us with your billing information, which will be kept with 'Xero', our accounting software. Or, if you decide to pay by credit card, your details will be kept securely by an external payment gateway (e.g. paypal). These details will be deleted when your account with us ends.
Email services
Airsquare allows you to send emails to your clients. Email addresses that you collect, and any emails that you send, will be stored on Airsquare servers. Airsquare will not use these email addresses in any other way.
Information Use and security
The security of your information is important to us and as such, we will endeavour to protect this information to the greatest extent that we can. We store your user information in secure databases. We use secure passwords, SSL encryption, firewalls and other measures to protect your data.
Airsquare's servers may not be located in your country. By using Airsquare, you consent to the personal information that we collect being transferred, for the purpose of storing the information where Airsquare's servers are located.
Be aware that when you send out emails from your website, your name and email address will be displayed as the sender.
Airsquare will use the personal details we have recorded for you, to contact you about our service, e.g. server, support, maintenance, and billing issues. Your contact information will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Airsquare will regularly send you email updates about our service, to keep you up to date with new features, offers etc. You can opt out of receiving these emails at any time, by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Airsquare uses third party services for payment processing, accounting services, email services, data analysis and customer service. It is necessary that these third parties have access to your personal information to perform their functions, but they cannot use your details for any other purpose.
As stated in our terms and conditions, we may release your account details, if we are required to do so by law or, in order to uphold our terms and conditions of service (including, for example, fraud protection).
While we endeavour to provide a secure system, we can't guarantee the security of the Internet or email and therefore, we can't guarantee that your information will not be intercepted through illegal or unauthorised activities. Should this occur, we will inform you via email as soon as possible.

Business changes
If Airsquare were to go through a business transition of any kind, any information that we have stored about your account will be transferred, as part of our business assets; we will notify you via email should this occur.
C) When you use a website that is hosted by Airsquare
Airsquare services have no control over how Airsquare customers run their websites and therefore does not state that this privacy policy will extend to their websites. You should not submit personal information on such sites unless you trust them.
Your information, e.g. your name and IP address, are logged by our system if/when you post comments/messages on our hosted websites. They will be available to the owner of the website you are posting on. Please do not post any messages/comments on these sites if you do not wish to disclose these details.
