Airsquare has been working with Tourism New Zealand, in conjunction with Shift, on their new youth campaign, “Stories Beat Stuff”.

The campaign has just been released and the central idea is that young people from around the globe can enter to win a trip to New Zealand, by choosing a cherished item that they would trade to win the prize. Their chosen trade will be donated to charity if they win. Entrants upload videos and/or photos about their chosen ‘trade’ and use their social networking sites to encourage friends to vote for them. The 10 ‘trades’ with the most votes will make the final short-list, along with 10 other finalists chosen by Tourism NZ. Tourism NZ will then choose the final winner.
To roll out this campaign, Airsquare provided Tourism NZ with the ability to develop a micro-site, which runs within their main website.
Airsquare brought the following benefits to this project:
- The website was built within the short time frame required by the project.
- Easy 'plugin' architecture, in order to build custom modules for the campaign
- Key functionality, which was available ‘out-of-the-box’
Airsquare has been working with Tourism NZ for a while now. In the last two years,
- We built the ‘Go all the way’ Campaign, in conjunction with Shift.

- We built the website for America's Next Top Model, in conjunction with Shift and Air New Zealand.

- We built the Go New Zealand website, in conjunction with Shift.

At Airsquare, we enjoy the variety and the challenges that arise from working on these dynamic projects.
